Why we built Corvago

Hi — we're the small team behind Corvago. Here's the short version of how it came to be.

We love wine. Not in a swirl-and-pontificate way — more in a we want to actually understand what's in the glass way. We wanted to buy with confidence instead of guessing in the shop, and to build a cellar we were proud of rather than a pile of bottles we kept forgetting about. Somewhere along the way we realized we were squinting at shelves, second-guessing labels, and losing track of the wines we already loved.

So we went looking for an app to help. We wanted something that learned our taste, gave a straight answer on whether a bottle was worth buying, and explained itself in plain language instead of jargon. We couldn't find it.

Between us we've spent more than 25 years building software. After enough evenings wishing the thing existed, we decided to stop wishing and build it ourselves. That's Corvago: a personal sommelier that puts modern AI to work on your behalf — learning your palate and guiding every pour, from the shop to the cellar. The AI does the heavy lifting in the background; the point is always you and what's in your glass.
